Linkin' 'Logs
In my extra moments at work (cough, cough) I have been following trails into the internet abyss and come up with a few noteworthy sites i thought i'd share. (you probably have uncovered these gems yourself...i am slow on the uptake, but i wanted to record them anyways -enjoy!)

Not A Cornfield - apparantly a group of artists, visionaries (revolutionaries?) turned a brown patch of nothing in the center of L.A. into a cornfield with stalks as high as an elephants eye. Angelinos were invited to help with the harvest (sorry you missed it) but there are all sorts of events happening in the space still (think drum circles and performance art etc.)

Fallen Fruit - these cats mapped out all the free/public domain fruitbearing trees in Silverlake. lemons, avocados, carob, bananas a whole cornicopia of nature's candy right at our feet, and above our heads.

L.A. Time Machines - What's better than a dive? A restaurant/bar/coffee shop etc. so hole-in-the-wall, that you have to crawl in and out of it. you know what's better? A historic dive. Check out L.A. Timemachines for pictures and commentary on some of L.A.'s old treasures. (yes, we have some!)
