I am currently sleepwalking around Sighet, the birthplace of Elie Wiesel. Camp was amazing!! It was better than I ever expected, ever hoped for..I really don't have the words. Of course what is camp without it's camper drama (which we had plenty of). It's funny how when you add boys to the mixture suddenly girls and boys are not as nice to each other. We had a "standoff" between two boys and Flori the girl they both liked. It was teenage drama at it's height. I ate nothing but bread for the week beacuse everyday we got pork or sausages or some naked boiled hotdog derivative...but that became my kind of joke. "Hey Nina, is the bread fresh?" The best part of the week (as if I could really rank anything) was the pratical joke that we played on our fellow counselor Brian. We being Beth and I, stole his tightie whities and tye dyed them blue and green. We put them in his mail box with a note "GAME ON!" He couldn't figure out all week who did it and the last night at Talent Show Beth, Sara and I did a skit imitating the boy counselors and we revealed out secret. Highlights of the week include an 18km hike to Scarisoara ( the second largest ice cave in the worls) which was 11km uphill and 7 down. We taught the kids baseball, capture the flag and ulitimate frisbee. We made lanyards and friendship bracelets (the boys really got into it), we set the kids out on a three hour scavenger hunt all over the valley and we sang. Boy did we sing!! Two girls came who played the guitar and had the most beautiful voice. It couldn't have been more perfect. Thanks for everyone who contributed!!!!!!!!
