LA MULTI ANI!!!!!

merry christmas all. I am in Brasov at the moment. Again. You must be thinking, she spends an awfull lot of time in Brasov. It's just easy to get to. I am here this time with about 15PCVs and we are ringing in the holiday together. No one wants to be alone on Christmas right? So yesterday we went snowboarding. I am telling you life in the peace corps is rough. There is a small bunny slope called Poiana Brasov that is one of Romania's premier slopes. Unfortunatly just the bunny hill is open. There are no chairlifts just rope pulls and you would have laughed so hard to see me try (unsucessfully) to pull myself up on my snowboard. But let me get the the snowboard because that was the first hilarious part. Basically I snowboarded in ski boots with my feet strapped in an almost unhuman angle pointed downhill. All i could do was go straight down the hill because one side of the snowboard was completely flat. They called these the slalom snowboard, i just called them homemade snowboards. it was torture but in a good way....although after walking up the bunny hill three times to go down in about a fraction of the time, i called it quits. i am so sore today. It didn't help that I danced last night all night in the basement with two french canadian guys i met at the hostel. It was fun! I LOVE being sore. We (meaning my friend Josh the gourmet) is making us christmas dinner. He wants to attempt beef wellington. Katherine is making her famous thanksgiving rolls...and she is making me a challah. I am helping..okay loves...i must get going. the most exciting news is that I am seeing Lisa in less than a week!!!!
