TURNING 23
I never thought that I would be 23 years old. 22 took time adjusting to, but 23 is a whole other issue. Funny as this may sound, I am terrified of change. Nobody knows this better than Mom and Dad. Instead of embracing my age I go kicking and screaming away from it. This year though I have decided to celebrate being 23. I am going to have ice cream and relish in my 23ness. I have mentioned my birthday to several people here, but I feel kinda silly bringing it up. So I think that this year it will be a kind of private celebration. Tara and Kevin's ( two other PCV's from my group) birthday is on the 2nd so we decided that we will try and meet up to celebrate together in Ciuc sometime in the next week........Enough about birthdays. Such a silly thing.
So, today is my first day off in weeks! I am finally going to the beach! We have a break in the Conference which has been extremely draining. We are doing improv from 9 in the morning straight until almost 6 in the evening. Talk about exhausting. And the mosquitos have been attacking my face at night so sleep hasn't been all to fufilling. Boy this is starting to sound like a bitch session. Sorry guys...So, good news. I got to eat the best hummus and falafel last night. There is a huge Lebonese poplulation in Constanta and last night we treated ourselves to the BEST Lebonese food. I ate with a vengence. I miss variety. Now don't take that the wrong way, Romanian food is great but day after day it's the same....ah no more time....
i love ya all
