TWO DAYS IN A ROW"
"

This must be some kind of record. I got out of classes early and decided heck, I feel the need to email, to speak to my peoples. Today we discussed the finer points of grading. It's such a different educational system in Romania. There is a catalogue where all of the grades are kept for a class throughout their school years. Each teacher writes in the catalogue and it is a big deal. IT has to be written in fountain pens and red and blue special ink. ANyway it's foarte complicated. In Romanian schools the kids are with the same class from the time that they enter school until they graduate. They have the same classroom as well and the teachers, not the kids move from class to class. They are expected to stand up when they answer as well as erase the chalkboard before the teacher enters the room. Apparently they all stand when the teacher enters the room. It's very formal. I think that willl be a challenge for me considering I am a very informal person.
